Thomas Academy School was established in 1994 in two rented rooms with 5 students and 1 teacher. It initially served as a Kindergarten school for children of nearby locality and surrounding villages.

In 2004 the school purchased its first land measuring 2500 Sq. Ft. It had a small office room while the classes were run under tin shed, setup in the area. Till 2014 it served as a primary school. The ground floor of the school was built during this time.

The school was recognized as a Jr. High School in 2015. The school could now enroll students till grade 8th. In 2017 the school was recognized to initiate Grade 10th curriculum and conduct examinations by the State Board of Secondary Education. It is now a fully functional High School.
